Granite Countertops | Pataskala
On this project in Pataskala, we removed existing plastic laminate countertops and installed new Santa Cecilia granite. New venetian gold with composite under mount sink.
Customer existing tile was to remain, so we provided a splash to match existing tops that were removed. We also reconnected the existing plumbing upon final installation.
What colors are in Santa Cecilia granite?
Santa Cecilia granite is a fantastic choice due to its diverse color options. The background varies from a delicate cream or gray to a richer gold. It’s contrasted by bold patterns of black, burgundy, and deeper shades of gray and gold.
The distinguishing feature of this stone is its darker mineral deposits, contributing greatly to its versatility. Each slab may contain different percentages of these minerals, with black mineral deposits sometimes making up to 30% of a slab, creating the most striking contrast.
Regardless of the differences among slabs, the patterns within each slab remain consistent. The complex patterning adds an element of visual intrigue to any room in your home. The intricate details of the granite are enhanced by bright light, adding depth and making your countertops twinkle.
The name of this granite variety itself showcases its elegance and charm. Named after the patron saint of music, Santa Cecilia, this type of granite is sure to make your eyes dance with delight.
What Are the Uses of Santa Cecilia Granite?
You may have initially planned a modest home renovation, starting with updating your countertops. However, once you consider replacing the countertops, the idea of revamping the floor might present itself. Given that your home features an open floor layout, the worn-out fireplace in the family room, visible from your soon-to-be revamped kitchen, might also need a facelift.
The strength and adaptability of Santa Cecilia granite make it an excellent choice for these improvements and more. This type of granite is typically used for kitchen and bathroom countertops but is also suitable for flooring, fireplaces, and tub and shower walls. Like other granite varieties, Santa Cecilia withstands harsh conditions well, making it ideal for outdoor applications such as kitchens and barbecue areas.
